センター設立の発表以来、プロジェクトに多くの方々から関心をお寄せいただき、先週の金曜日、プレゼンテーションに集まって下さった皆様の好奇心を肌で感じることができました。 開設に際し、センター設立の原動力となったインスピレーションと、今後数ヶ月間に来るミッションについて、明確なご説明を準備しました。

まずグッドニュースとして、インタラクティビティがどのように自らの活動を変えようとしているのか、という点に興味を持つあらゆる人々に、センターは開かれています。学術関係者、企業、個人を問わず、８月から入会登録の受付を開始いたしますので、このインタラクション革命にぜひご参加下さい。今年の年末まで会員登録は無料です！９月にプログラムを公開いたします。

A warm thank you to all who came last Friday for the official launch of the Tokyo Interaction Center!

Since we announced the Center a few weeks ago, we received a lot of interest for the project, and last Friday we could almost feel the curiosity in the air as our invited guests gather for our launch presentation. For the launch, we shed some light on the original inspiration for the Center and our mission for the months to come.

The good news: the Center is open to everyone interested in the way interactivity is changing his/her activity. Academics, companies and individuals will be welcome to join the revolution from August, and the membership will be free till the end of the year! We will announce our full programme in September.

The whole event was streamed on Ustream and Twitter. You can watch some videos of the event on our Youtube channel. Our launch took place while a matsuri (summer festival) was happening in the streets of Kagurazaka, which surely added to the party atmosphere. You can see photos from the event here:
