東京インタラクションセンター(TinC)としての初めてのイベントに、皆様をご招待いたします。

テーマ：「マシンレスWEBの時代へ：インタラクティブ・ホログラム」

このイベントは東京・神楽坂の「東京インタラクションセンター」にて、2011年1月14日の18時から20時まで開催されます。
ホログラムと３Dスクリーンが、デバイス、マウス、キーボードにも頼らず、タッチレスでWEBやデジタルコンテンツの操作を可能とし、まったく新たな体験を生み出します。
これは既存のPCやモバイル機器以外の、デジタルコンテンツとの新たなインタラクションの可能性を開くことでしょう。
最新の研究、最も有望な実験、実現可能なソリューションとは何か　ー　私たちは、この分野の最新技術を探求します。
今回は専門家の方々が、この複雑な先端技術を、明確なビジョンとして提示してくれます。

「それは今日どう使われているか？」「今後の展望は？」
「現実の世界にどのように応用できるのか？」
「だれがこの有望な市場をリードしていくのか？」

The Web without Machines: Interactive Holograms

This session will be held in Tokyo Interaction Center in Kagurazaka, Tokyo, on January 14th, 2011 from 6PM to 8PM.

Holograms and 3D screens will allow interaction with web and digital content without devices, mice, keyboard, without contact, creating totally new experiences.

It opens new opportunities to interact with digital content, outside the traditional PC and phone.

We will explore the state of the art in this domain: latest research, most promising experiments, available solutions,…

Experts will translate complex emerging technologies into applicable visions and recommendations: what can be use today, tomorrow and later, for what applications in the real world? Who will lead this promising market?

来る９月２０日、TEDxTokyoが主宰する次回のTEDxChangeが、東京インタラクションセンターにて開催されます。
東京の現地時間の午後11時から翌午前２時まで開催される、グローバル・イベントです。
TEDxとビル・アンド・メリンダ・ゲイツ財団が、特別なTEDxプロジェクトのためにタッグを組みました。

「私たちが創る未来」をテーマに、TEDのキュレーター、クリス・アンダーソンが、今回のTEDxChangeを主催します。ニューヨークのPaley Center for Mediaでのライブイベントが、9月20日にウエブを通じてライブストリームされ、世界各地の30カ所以上のローカルTEDxコミュニティに同時に配信されます。
参加費は無料です。イベントが深夜にわたるため、前もってタクシーシェアリングを準備することができます。
TinCの快適なテラスで東京の夜を満喫し、インタラクティブ技術を楽しみながら、様々な分野の参加者と交流する絶好の機会です。

We are pleased to invite our members to the next TEDxChange on September 20th, in 東京 Interaction Center organized by TEDxTokyo.

This is a global event from 11PM – 2:00AM Tokyo Time. TEDx and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation have teamed up for a very special TEDx project.

Focused on the theme “The Future We Make,” TEDxChange will be hosted by TED curator Chris Anderson. The live event at the Paley Center for Media in New York City will be streamed live to the web on September 20th — and local TEDx communities around the world will be watching.

TEDxTokyo has dealt with the time difference before including a packed house for an all-night event for TED’s Global Pangea Day, and so now will be linking with 30+ cities around the world via a city to city Livestream.

There is no event fee, and we’re gathering people’s home locations and will have a sheet with everyone’s locations to do matching for taxi sharing after the event.

It is a great opportunity to socialize in a cool place, enjoy the warm night on TinC’s terrasse and play with some interactive toys.

先週の金曜日は、東京インタラクションセンターのオープニングパーティーにご参加いただき、大変ありがとうございました。

センター設立の発表以来、プロジェクトに多くの方々から関心をお寄せいただき、先週の金曜日、プレゼンテーションに集まって下さった皆様の好奇心を肌で感じることができました。 開設に際し、センター設立の原動力となったインスピレーションと、今後数ヶ月間に来るミッションについて、明確なご説明を準備しました。

まずグッドニュースとして、インタラクティビティがどのように自らの活動を変えようとしているのか、という点に興味を持つあらゆる人々に、センターは開かれています。学術関係者、企業、個人を問わず、８月から入会登録の受付を開始いたしますので、このインタラクション革命にぜひご参加下さい。今年の年末まで会員登録は無料です！９月にプログラムを公開いたします。

A warm thank you to all who came last Friday for the official launch of the Tokyo Interaction Center!

Since we announced the Center a few weeks ago, we received a lot of interest for the project, and last Friday we could almost feel the curiosity in the air as our invited guests gather for our launch presentation. For the launch, we shed some light on the original inspiration for the Center and our mission for the months to come.

The good news: the Center is open to everyone interested in the way interactivity is changing his/her activity. Academics, companies and individuals will be welcome to join the revolution from August, and the membership will be free till the end of the year! We will announce our full programme in September.

The whole event was streamed on Ustream and Twitter. You can watch some videos of the event on our Youtube channel. Our launch took place while a matsuri (summer festival) was happening in the streets of Kagurazaka, which surely added to the party atmosphere. You can see photos from the event here:

東京インタラクションセンターTinCは、東京で最も興味深い歴史的地区・神楽坂のLM3LABS株式会社と場を共有しています。

この場所の選択は意図的なものです。技術が成功するには、既に存在しているものを拠りどころとする必要があるため、伝統とモダニティの間に橋を架け ようとのアイデアからスタートしています。特に日本ではそれが顕著です。

神楽坂は、東京で最もグルメな場所のひとつでもあります。TinCのオフィスは、あらゆるスタイルの何軒もの飲食店に取り囲まれています。神楽坂は 「プチ・パリ」としても有名ですが、多くの人々にとってはむしろ京都の雰囲気が強いようです。TinCのメンバーは、会合やイベントの後で、ディスカッ ションを続けるための選択肢に困ることがありません。

Tokyo Interaction Center (TinC) shares space with LM3LABS in Kagurazaka, one of the most interesting historical districts in Tokyo.

The choice of the place is intentional. It started with a key idea: bridging traditions and modernity, smoothly, because successful technologies always have to rely on what was existing before. This is especially true in Japan.

Kagurazaka is one of the best place to dine in town. TinC’s office is surrounded by hundreds of restaurants of all styles. Kagurazaka is called “Le Petit Paris” but for many it is more Kyoto’s ambiance. TinC’s members will only have choice to continue discussions after TinC’s events.

見る／見られる

オフィスの新築の建物は、TinCの方針を反映しています。街路に向かって露出した、ガラス張りで透明な空間です。

街を行く人々との密接感は、常に多様性について考えさせ、インスピレーションの源となります。

また、人々が周囲の環境の中でどのように動き、相互に関係し合っているか、どのように方向を探し、店舗を眺めているかを分析することができます。

Who watch who?

TinC’s newly built building reflects some elements of TinC’s philosophy. It is highly visible from the street, transparent, mostly made of glass.

This proximity with people walking in the street, is a permanent reminder about diversity and a perpetual source of inspiration.

It is also a great way to analyze how people move and interact with their environment, how they search for street directions, how they watch shops, how they interact with each others.

ルールを破り、より良いものへ

TinCのガラス張りの空間は、素晴らしいショーウインドーでもあり、印象的な映像投射スクリーンや、その他の企画に活用できます。

Breaking some rules, for the better

The glass building of TinC is a great show window and surrounding glass is used for impressive projection or other projects.

TinCのオフィスには広いテラスがあり、カジュアルなスタイルのミーティングやディスカッションができます。別の環境に移ることにより、さらにク リエイティブでフレッシュなアイデアが湧きます。テラスでは、ミーティングが陳腐な会議ではなくなり、生産性が高まります。

TinC’s offices also have a large terrace for casual meetings and discussions. Transporting people in an other environment often helps them to be more creative, get new fresh ideas. It is amazing as meetings are less conventional, more productive on this terrace.




屋内には、カラフルで居心地の良い環境が開かれています。無味乾燥なベージュ一色ではなく、人々が集い合うための空間があります。

限られた物質的な場を超え、TinCはメンバーが相互に共同し、貢献し、情報を受け取るバーチャルなミーティングの場でもあります。このバーチャルな場は、7月23日に公開され、デザイナーや建築家、研究者、エンジニア、ビジネスマンに開かれます。

A Virtual Place too

Beyond the physical place, limited by definition, the TinC is also a virtual meeting place where members will collaborate, contribute, and receive information. This virtual place will be unveil on July 23rd and will be open to designers, architects, researchers, engineers, and business people.
