WHAT IS THE LEARNING EXPEDITION ABOUT?
The Learning Expedition is made of 15 people, entrepreneurs, corporate executives, investors, etc… We tend to favour a maximum of 2 persons per company for a better “blend” of the program. You are in charge of your flight to arrive to Haneda Airport on Sunday October 13th, 2019.
From Haneda Airport, we will bring you to the hotel in Kagurazaka, in the Shinjuku district. A briefing will happen before the dinner on Sunday. The briefing aims at explaining the dynamics of Japan, business etiquette and practices, detailing the agenda of the week and answering all questions. A compulsory dinner in Kagurazaka will conclude the day.
Breakfasts are included in your room fees and, for the most courageaous of you, we will have a jogging around the Imperial Palace.
All transports are made by mini-bus for efficiency. Each day of the week is made of 3 to 4 meetings. The program will be communicated before your final payment.
Aside the common program, individual meetings are exceptionally possible with specific contacts. You are in charge of setting up those side meetings and they may involve traveling by taxi or metro at your own cost. We will help you make the best of them.
WHO WILL YOU MEET?
With a large a dynamic network made of the most innovative companies in Japan, we can arrange the richest agenda for the Learning Expedition members. Focusing on innovation and startups, we systematically arrange pitching opportunities to investors (VCs, Angels and accelerators). We also focus on discovering what happens in Labs or with digital strategies of large corporates.
A few examples :
NTT DoCoMo Ventures
The University of Tokyo
Tsukuba Robotics Campus
Mega Banks (MUFJ, Mizhuo,…)
A specific program is designed to accommodate most of participant’s interests while opening to new topics.
Combined Exhibition of Advanced Technologies (also known as CEATEC) is an annual trade show in Japan. It is regarded as the Japanese equivalent of Consumer Electronics Show (CES). It is Japan's largest IT and electronics exhibition and conference.
