Once upon a time in Tokyo..

...back in 2010, a team of cross-border tech entrepreneurs decided to launch a place where engineers, artists, designers, students, large companies and investors could meet to discuss about next generation interactions. The 東京 Interaction Center was born.

Since then 東京 Interaction Center organised many gatherings on deep subject, promoted younger entrepreneurs and artists, incubated 4 startups and published valuable and helpful reports and databases.

About our logo

The logo is an abstraction of Da Vinci's Man of Vitruve

The logo is an abstraction of Da Vinci's Man of Vitruve

The 東京 Interaction Center logo reflects the spirit of the community. It is based on Da Vinci’s Man of Vitruve.

Da Vinci is our model. Because Da Vinci understood that we cannot ignore a discipline. Arts, Technology, Humanities, they are all necessary and they cannot exist by themselves. Da Vinci put the man at the center of his work. Da Vinci was also the father of useful innovation.

In parallel, we designed this logo to reflect the soul of Japan. It looks like a traditional Japanese seal, also called "hanko". It is humble. It looks like a raising sun. It also makes a T shape like Tokyo.

We are proud of the 東京 Interaction Center logo and we make Da Vinci’s moto ours: Firmitas, Utilitas, et Venustas, Robust, Useful, and Beautiful !
